Volunteer Your Time

OTHERS of Destin, Inc. is in need of individuals who share our same passion and interests in serving our community. If you would like to join our team, please contact us! We provide training and orientation, so a lack of experience should not prevent you from volunteering. We welcome help from religious, charitable, civic, or professional organizations that wish to serve together.

During the winter months, we require significant support from volunteers to maintain Destin’s cold night shelter, by preparing food, setting up cots, or staying overnight. We also need volunteers for a variety of different programs and events throughout the year, and these opportunities are continuously posted on our Facebook page. Let us know that you want to help, and we will match your interests and skills with a role in our programs.

In-Kind Donations

Donations of household and personal items are truly appreciated by OTHERS of Destin, Inc. We all have clothing and household items that we are not using.   Maybe it is a blanket that use to keep someone warm or an appliance that you no longer need.  Donating your household and personal items to OTHERS of Destin will give new life to your goods by putting them in the hands of people who need them today!

Commonly donated personal and home items include:

• Furniture
• Household Goods
• Hygienic and Baby Items

We also greatly appreciate the donation of larger items for sale or investment, including automobiles, real estate, jewelry, or stocks, and we welcome donations of professional services.
